What would you do if you could live this life again. Who would you be? Where would you go?
I know we all have that day where we wake up and think…where am I and how did I get here? The “here” being recognized with a splash of anguish and a pinch of dismay.

I actually majored in Marine Biology and Chemistry in college. I am not a Marine Biologist and I am not a Chemist today. Do I regret this decision…absolutely not. It might not be the journey I would have selected if I could live again…or would it be?
We often hear about how it isn’t the destination, but in fact the journey that is of utmost importance. The things you learn along the way; including the good, the bad and perhaps the ugly. Experiences teach us, if you are willing to listen.
As a teenager, I found a love in poetry, it led me to leave my current state of being and whisked me off to a different realm, one that was full of love and possibility. Can I find that world today? I think everyone has the opportunity to find this peaceful inner realm. A place where they can be who they truly desire to be.
My journey taught me self love and the appreciation for others, to have an open heart and live with gratitude. It taught me that you can really be anything you desire to be, you just simply have to want it bad enough, to trust and believe it is possible and to feel like it already exists.
