Fame and Celebrity Culture

So, I realize the photo doesn’t necessarily match the title of this article…but, I assure you, it will come into play.

I have never really been all that into reality television. I honestly can’t imagine the time wasted watching wanna be stars exposing their inadequacies and idiosyncrasies for the world to judge. As if there isn’t enough craziness in this world of ours.

The only series I indulge in has been “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” series on ABC Television. A few of my girlfriends, my middle daughter and I have grown accustomed to watching these brave souls publicly embark on a, sometimes perilous, journey to find the love of their lives.

So, what do you suppose fuels another’s desire to become famous…money, greed, ego?

I honestly feel it is a combination of the above. Plus, with the sensationalism of the internet and social media, just about anyone has the opportunity to become a viral success.

In my humble opinion, what happens within your home should, most often, remain within your home and perhaps those inner most sacred moments withheld from catapulting them into the world.

When we go with the flow, we are in the harmony of a peaceful vibration, we escape to that happy place within — a personal nirvana, if you will. We seemingly don’t have the need for attention or ego and fame is so very far from our internal radar.

When we escape to the brilliance and elevation of our internal world, we become confident, creative and move forward with conquering our next adventure. Imagination is born within and we become our own muse.

Fame and the celebrity culture…well, that may be something others strive for. Me, I just want to create abundance within and inspire others to find the same. Your passion for life can not be measured by the number of likes you have on a social media post, but, rather, it comes from the beauty of confidence and love you hold within your heart.
